Yes. Enon. You probably missed it. These guys played a great show and really seemed to enjoy their visit to Richmond. Snack Truck played the best set I’ve seen them play yet, with a new song! David Shultz did a good job of priming the crowd and setting a good vibe. And of course there was duck pin bowling the whole time. I love this venue.

The poster. This is Loose Limbs first guest artist and he totally showed us up. Obviously, Matt Deans is no stranger to the screen printed poster or space soda.

The fourth annual Ghost of Pop show was crammed with local RVA bands all of which wielded their own unique pop sensibilities. With so many bands its hard to recap the whole show, but personal highlights for me were the ELO cover by Hot Lava, and the Aretha Franklin cover by Prabir and the Substitutes featuring a deceptively petite guest singer. The whole thing was topped off by a stage flooded with miscellaneous audience and band members bringing the house down during the last song, that I think cost Prabir’s guitarist his guitar.
Of course this was also Loose Limbs first poster offering, a collaboration between our founders Brandon Peck and myself.
