New Years Eve at Hyperlink Cafe

This was a pretty fun show. Four bands, raffles, a DJ and a lot of booze. It was going on during the first Carytown New Years Eve celebration so the crowd wasn’t as big as it probably could have been, but we still had a great time. When I made this poster, I was just beginning to play with creating my own type, and I was pretty happy with how it came out. I still have a stack of these sitting around if anyone is interested in getting a copy.

Two Richmond bands, one van and three and a half weeks touring Europe for the first time. This poster was designed by Matt Partridge and shows the beginnings of his progression into the world of collage pieces. His new stuff is amazing, but this has always been one of my favorites.
