My memory doesn’t always do me justice, but I seem to remember this show was a bit of a disaster. Something to do with the guy who organized the show having promoted it as being free to VCU and U of R students, but never having cleared that arrangement with either school financially. Anyway, the show was incredible. Eastern Youth was great and Cursive was incredibly intense. As far as the poster goes, I’ll say personally I’m drawn to the sparse nature of it. The visual elements are there, and the idea behind it is so simple that it’s perfect.
