Zac Hryciak & the Jungle Beat at The Czar

Zac Hryciak & the Jungle Beat
  1. This trio is fast becoming one of my new favorites. They put on such a great show. I love the combination of the strumming classical guitar and the violin backed by a healthy dose of intricate drumming. And they blow me away more and more every time I see them.

Zac and the Beat weren’t the only ones who played a great set, though. Coald Toast wound spacey vocals through tribal drumming and repetitive guitar lines. Matt of American Tourist complimented his guitar and singing by simultaneously tapping on a bass drum. And the Invisible Hand rocked out like only a couple of talented kids from Charlottesville can, despite the singer’s bad cold and scratchy voice.
